Now in our second generation and counting

Our family’s journey in America began with my father, Suman Patel, who arrived with a dream of studying and building a new life. After earning his master's degree at Tuskegee University, he became a professor of agriculture at Alabama A&M in Huntsville, Alabama, making meaningful contributions to education. However, his entrepreneurial spirit led him to start a new chapter by investing in motels and Subway sandwich shops. Over time, he expanded his ventures and built the foundation for the family’s future success. His resilience, dedication, and work ethic remain a guiding force for me.

In 1995, I took over the family business, driven by my own passion for entrepreneurship. With a strong foundation in motels, restaurants, and Subway shops, I began overseeing a diverse portfolio of businesses, including bars, lounges, and liquor stores. Each venture taught me valuable lessons in leadership, customer service, and efficient operations. The values of honesty, integrity, and hard work that my father instilled in me have remained central to how I run the business, and I strive to uphold those principles every day.

Throughout the years, I have focused on sustainable growth and expanding into new markets, while maintaining the high standards set by my father. My goal has always been to ensure that our businesses deliver excellent customer experiences, stay ahead of industry trends, and contribute to the well-being of the community. I’m proud of the growth we’ve achieved and the positive impact we’ve had, all while staying true to the values that have guided us.

I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished. But I know the journey is far from over. As we continue to grow, we remain focused on delivering exceptional service, expanding with integrity, and upholding the family values that have made us who we are today.
